So far what I do know about this is that HL3 is gonna be released in 4-6 hour episodes. I don't know how many episodes are planned.

The minimum requirements are

As for the Maximum requirements.

4.Whats this about a Half-Life beta floating around?

This rumor is true their is a beta but it's hacked and I refuse to tell you where you can download it or download it myself. The hacking was done on September 17th I think. I forget most of the details but I do know that about a third of the code was stolen and that its playable... barely playable. As I hear it its only the stuff from the video's and its all scripted so playing it isn't the problem the real problem is that so much of the code is floating around that now they have to open up the source code and check and recheck the whole thing and make sure that nothing from the source can be used to make cheats and hacks with.

Half-Life 2 takes place in a city in Europe called City17.
